Why form a new club for the GWP?
A few of us GWP Enthusiasts in the UK, with a wealth of experience in the breed between us, have recognised the need for a new club with the interests of the breed at heart.
Our aims are;
-
To create a true focus on the health issues associated with the GWP, in order that a healthy, fit for purpose hunting dog can be produced on a consistent basis.
-
To encourage by example or experience, the breeding of truly all purpose dogs which offer performance and longevity in all aspects of the British Hunting scene.
-
To provide a help and advice service to the whole of the country.
-
To offer and run a variety of Seminars, Functions, Show and Field events throughout the British Isles to its members.
-
To offer a forthright, balanced, non political view on topics raised by its members.
-
To hold Field Trials, Working Tests and Breed shows.
