A few of us GWP Enthusiasts in the UK, with a wealth of experience in the breed between us, have recognised the need for a new club with the interests of the breed at heart.

Our aims are;
 

1. To create a true focus on the health issues associated with the GWP, in order that a healthy, fit for purpose hunting dog can be produced on a consistent basis.

2. To encourage by example or experience, the breeding of truly all purpose dogs which offer performance and longevity in all aspects of the British Hunting scene.

3. To provide a help and advice service to the whole of the country.

4. To offer and run a variety of Seminars, Functions, Show and Field events throughout the British Isles to its members.

5. To offer a forthright, balanced, non political view on topics raised by its members.

6. To hold Field Trials, Working Tests and Breed shows.
